Would you like to share your love for reading?
Creating your special handcrafted bookmark can be as easy or as involved as you want it to be, as long as it is made with love for reading. Handcrafted? Yes, drawn or painted by hand, sewn, leather work, beaded, made from wood (painted and/or wood burning), origami, etc. Please attach our label to the backside of your bookmark to show your support for this project. We have included a link to the pdf file for printing. Never include any personal contact information. Please keep the bookmarks free of any profanity, vulgarity, and nude images. Any messages placed on the bookmarks should be positive.
Next, place your bookmarks in books throughout the community. For location ideas see our facebook page. Another option is to place them in your own books at random locations. Please place them in a plastic protector/bag if putting them outdoors. We have included a pdf file for the labels for printing.
Remember, when donating, to allow a safe environment for sharing your gift.

The Bookmark 20 Project is an idea our family came up with to help encourage our children to get excited about reading books. Combining our love of both art and reading, we began creating handcrafted bookmarks, drawing inspiration from the books we read. Wanting to share our idea, we created this project to get the community excited about reading through shared handcrafted bookmarks. This was done in the hopes to encourage others to take a look in a book, for at least 20 minutes a day and discover a world of imagination. We have had tremendous support in our short time of starting our project. We already have a few events scheduled in our local community. Please visit us on facebook for details.

The Bookmark 20 Project is partnering with Just Kid'n Around to be in the Ocala Christmas Parade. We will be handing out books while we walk the parade route. Event Date is December 14, 2019

On October 25, come out and support Ocala Springs Elementary School's PTO. We have donated 105 books and 50 bookmarks to be given out as prizes. The kids really loved playing the lollipop game to try and win a book.
